Highway 307 buses do not enter Puerto Morelos town: they stop at the highway junction, about 2 km from the beach. From there you need a local taxi, which in high season can take a while.
Uber
Uber coverage in Puerto Morelos is thin even within town, and pickup at Cancun Airport remains problematic because of the taxi union dispute. For a 30-minute trip, the wait can end up longer than the ride.
